About Me

Passionate Coder

Coding isn't just a hobby for me; it's a passion. I love spending my free time diving into the world of programming and exploring new technologies. Whether it's creating software, websites, or tinkering with various projects, I find joy in the art of coding.

Curious Mind

My favorite subjects are math and science. I'm captivated by the endless possibilities and the way these disciplines provide a systematic understanding of the world. These subjects are not just academic interests but a way of thinking that I apply to various aspects of my life.

Future Computer Scientist

I aspire to major in Computer Science. The prospect of delving deeper into the realm of algorithms, artificial intelligence, and software development excites me. It's my dream to contribute to the ever-evolving tech world.

Linguistic Diversity

I take pride in being trilingual. I'm fluent in English, French, and Japanese, which allows me to connect with people from various cultures and backgrounds. Language is a bridge that transcends borders and fosters understanding.

Tech Enthusiast

I built my very own computer from scratch. It's a testament to my love for technology and a deep dive into the hardware side of the tech world. Customizing and optimizing my computer is a satisfying endeavor.

Anime and Manga Enthusiast

Apart from technology and academics, I'm a big fan of anime and manga. The captivating stories, colorful characters, and imaginative worlds in these mediums have a special place in my heart. It's a creative outlet that complements my analytical side.

Cat Lover

Cats are my favorite animals. Their independence, curiosity, and the occasional moments of affection make them wonderful companions. I'm often found scrolling through adorable cat videos and images during my breaks.

Projects

Text-Transcriber

The model's purpose is to take a line of handwritten text as an input and output the text in typed and spoken form. This is intended for use by various audiences such as the visually impaired, teachers, and anyone who wants to eliminate the time it takes to transcribe text. It can be a monotonous task to hand-transcribe sentences, and even impossible to many. The Text-Transcriber provides a way for the visually impaired to hear text they may not be able to read and saves time for all users.

Hackathon 5/20/23

My two friends and I participated in a Hackathon with the theme of Education. Together, we created a keylogger tool designed to monitor typed content, similar to software like GoGuardian or Securely. This tool tracked words by monitoring keyboard input and compared them against a database containing over 1200 inappropriate words. When an inappropriate word was detected, the tool closed the active window, contributing to a safer and more appropriate online learning environment.

YouTube Video Shortener

During my internship, I collaborated with a team of five colleagues to develop a YouTube video shortening tool. Our primary goal was to take 10-15 minute-long videos and utilize artificial intelligence and statistical data, such as identifying the top-viewed segments and the portions with the highest retention rates. This allowed us to shorten the videos into more concise 50-60 second clips, making them ideal for sharing on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter. Additionally, our tool automatically generated titles, descriptions, and tags for the videos, streamlining the content creation process for optimal engagement.
